Biomedical refers to a single piece of patient care equipment or equipment in a patient care area with a power cord.  Each unit with a separate power cord counts as one unit. Discounts may not be cumulative. Parts used during service will increase costs.

Contract Service is a minimum of 2 inspections in one year.  MEIS does not provide contract service on requests of once a year safety inspections.  MEIS will provide will-call non-contract service for facilities that desire one a year safety inspections.  Most facilities have equipment greater then (7) years old.  Safety test measurements made during the inspection can reduce hazards by uncovering early signs of degradation. Equipment greater than (7) years old may no longer be supported by the manufacturer and have a greater failure rate.  MEIS considers once a year safety testing not in the patients best interest.  In twenty plus of service, statistically, facilities that perform only once a year safety inspections have more safety incidences.  Legal liability concerns may preclude some facilities from service.
